About IGSM

Geodesy students from all around the world meet annually at the International Geodetic Students Meeting (IGSM), with the purpose of exchanging knowledge and expertise, and of course, meeting each other. Every year, the meeting is held in another country - last year the hosting city was Valencia, this year Zürich, and next year IGSM will be held in Zagreb, from 2nd to 8th May 2010. On this occasion, Croatia will welcome more than 200 students from over 28 countries all around the world.

A content-rich program has been devised for this one—week meeting, which includes expert seminars, workshops, presentations & lectures, team work, trips, various sport activities as well as informal socializing. Thus, foreign students will be introduced to our way of studying, the beauty of the Croatian countryside, our traditions and, certainly, the hospitality of our people.
